What is an Affidavit of Non-Enrollment?

An Affidavit of Non-Enrollment is a statement under oath that a person has not enrolled in any other school.

 

1. What is an Affidavit of Non-Enrollment?

An Affidavit of Non-Enrollment is a written statement under oath by a person (the “Affiant”) saying he/she has not enrolled in any other school and, if applicable, the reason why there is a gap in his/her school enrollment.


2. When do you need an Affidavit of Non-Enrollment?

An Affidavit of Non-Enrollment is normally required by a school from the student-applicant as part of the requirements when enrolling.


3. What information do you need to create the Affidavit of Non-Enrollment?

To create your Affidavit of Non-Enrollment, you’ll need the following minimum information:

  • The name and details (i.e. nationality and address) of the Affiant;
  • The school the Affiant is currently applying for;
  • If there is a gap in the Affiant's school enrollment, the details of the gap and reason for the same; and
  • The purpose for which the Affidavit is being executed.
